I was wondering if anyone has tried the drug Aciphex? My friend was recently dianosed with IBS and her doctor eventually ended prescibing it for her. And she says it has really helped alot. Just wondering if anyone has tried it and what their experience was with it.

Last summer, when I was having breathing problems, the pulmonary dr. put me on this, because he thought I had acid reflux which can mimic asthma (or something to that effect) and sent me to my GI. Needless to say, they did nothing for me since that isn't what I had. I've never heard of Aciphex prescribed for IBS symptoms. Here's the website if you want to read up on it: www.aciphex.com
