Between IBS and menstrual cramps sometimes I can't tell which is which. My pre-teen daughter just "started" about 10 months ago and she has thrown my "menstral clock" out the window.

Am I thoe only one confused about which cramp is which?

The great news is that I have been "regular" since that awful attack I had a few weeks ago. If I could only get the cramps to go away I would have little to complain about...thank the Lord for no "C"!

I can't tell which is which either. Until I got pretty stabilized I didn't think I had any more problems around that time- I just hadn't noticed a difference. Now I can't tell if I need advil or immodium or both.

i have trouble telling, too. So I take everything in my medicine cabinet. If you are on an antispasmodic, doesn't it make sense that it may work in stopping your womanly organs ANd your colon from cramping? Same for taking Midol to make the cramps go away- than they are not aggravating your colon.
I have also noticed that they like to team up against me- one triggers the other. Any hope of not being sick around my period (Starting tomorrow! ) is to combat both.
I noticed the chamomile tea is a GREAT natural way to deal with both.
