What is your favourite brand of soy or rice ice cream? Or sorbet?

I can't have that yet, I think; I'm taking this diet really slowly so I don't have a reaction...but planning ahead and buying ahead helps keep me on the diet.
I know I tried some soy ice cream in the past that I didn't like at all (though that may change, now that I'm limited to dairy-free and have to). So I was wondering, what is your favourite brand of soy or rice ice cream? Or sorbet?
And especially for those of you who are chocolate lovers--is there any soy/rice frozen desert out there that tastes good? Or a raspberry sorbet that's dairy-free, low fat? I'll take any recommendations.

RD, do a search in this Board, because this has been discussed before, and you can read everyone's preferences.
I'm totally hooked on Soy Dream Mocha Fudge. You just can't find anything better. I buy 4 cartons at a time (because I can only get it at the HFS and have to drive 30 miles one way to get there). I bought a pint of every flavor of Soy Dream and Silk that the HFS had -- so I could do a taste test. You'll find my post if you do a search. Anyway, the blueberry was pretty darn good, and the strawberry swirl was great (but a little sweet). Vanilla was excellent, and I buy a lot of it because I use it in my smoothies.
One time hubby went to the HFS for me and bought the wrong thing. He brought back Rice Dream chocolate. You know what? It was pretty darn good! So if you can't tolerate soy, give the Rice Dream a chance.
BTW, have you tried our incredible ADBs (brownies)? They're fabulous, and I put a little of my Mocha Fudge on them -- OMG! To die for. Who needs that dairy stuff?!

1. Soy Delicious brand Cherry Chocolate Nirvana is my fave.
2. I don't know if this is a local New York brand, but Ciao Bella Sorbets are amazing.

I agree with Bev, the Mocha Fudge is amazing, but I've found it pretty hard to find here in Canada. Sadly I haven't really liked most of the chocolate soy ice creams I've tried, they just don't taste the same to me. I do however like some of the vanilla flavors, which may be because I never ate vanilla ice cream so I don't know what it tastes like
I noticed your from Canada so I figured I'll stick to things I know I've seen here. So Good makes a butterscotch ripple ice cream that I quite enjoy, and also Chapman's makes a Chocolate Sorbet that's completely dairy free that's pretty good. It doesn't taste like "ice cream" because it's not creamy, it's more of a water ice, but it's tasty none-the-less.
If you're dying for something along the lines of ice cream but worried about your tum, I'd start with something like the Chapman's, because I found the soy ice creams a little hard to get adjusted too...and the Chapman's has no fat

now, I can not comment on choclate frozen treats... but i do know that alot of people on this board enjoy Tofutti Cuties, they are tiny ice cream sandwiches. I love them, but for some reason I think my belly has a bad reaction to Toffutti ice cream.
my safest frozen treat is haagen Daz mango fat-free sorbet...Mmmm! Yum! Once I got carried away and ate 3/4 pint all in one sitting, luckily attack free. I did feel guilty, though! I have also started to go out for mango water ice this summer, as a substitute for the old times of going out for ice cream.

Rice Dream ice cream rocks! I esp like the strawberry. And Edy's sorbets are yummy too, I have to say strawberry is my favorite of that one. Good luck and enjoy when you can have them!

I like the Rice Dream orange vanilla ice cream. It tastes just like those orange dream bars! Very good!
