I'm a D and I happen to struggle with insolubles more than anything else, so the only advice I can offer is the conventional stuff around here. Have a good soluble fiber base, have it toward the end of the meal, do what you can to make it more tolerable (peel, cook, chop, etc.), chew well, and don't eat too much!

Good luck!

What about smoothies? Heather and lots of people here (me included) think they're a great way to eat insoluble safely. Don't know if you like pumpkin pie, but I put a recipe for a Pumpkin Pie Smoothie on the Recipe board. I make it with sweet potato because pumpkin doesn't agree with me anymore.

Also vegetable soup is great, cause the vegetables are peeled, chopped and cooked well.

I also like steamed asparagus with rice.

Thanks for all the advice! I'm starting with a strawberry or two (or three) in some oatmeal. Its the higher fiber stuff that gets me...but I need SOME of course.
