I have a "pain" more like a tenderness that I can feel most of the time. It is situated to the left of my right hip bone and down a bit. It almost feels like a bubble that just needs to burst.
I have been mentioning to my doctors for about a year now and they have all said it sounds like its your ovaries. But it bothers me all the time not just when I am ovulating.
Does anyone else have this? I'm wondering if it is IBS related. I'm beginning to get a bit worried.
Thanks in advance

If they said it's your ovaries, that's probably it. It wouldn't only bother you when you're ovulating necessarily. They probably mean a benign ovarian cyst. That would feel like a bubble. I had one and was told that it's best to leave it alone unless the pain is interfering with your day to day functioning.
Hope that helps. I could be wrong, but just a guess.

It sounds like I have similar pain as you. It's my lower right side and feels like appendicitis (I had an appendectomy last June). This pain comes along with other stomach pain/cramps but seems to be more constant. My Doctor does not seem to be concerned about this and can't explain it (I've had every test & scan under the sun). He did say it was in an area that is that is typically sore in Crohn's disease patients but luckily the tests all ruled out Crohn's disease.
Since I've been on Heather's diet the pain has gotten much better.
Hope this helps.

I think I get a similar pain too, and so does my mother (she also has IBS). Sometimes it is more of a tenderness or pain, and other times it's more like a gas bubble, just like you said. Personally I do think it's IBS related... even though IBS supposedly has no physical causes!
