I have this and it has gotten worse. I need to cut sugar out but also the hypoglycemic diet wants you to cut out white flour.

I'm trying to decied how to do this with Heathers diet. The other diet focuses on whole grain and no sugar...use sugar subs if needed. So now I'm not sure what to do. I feel torn because both IBS and hypoglycemia are big factors in how I feel.

Any help would be appreciated. I'm in a hurry right now or I would explane more about the diet....I'll check back later.

Thanks!

Yes, I have hypoglycemia. I watch when and how I eat sugar, but I don't find white flour a problem, which is good because I depend on it to keep my IBS stable. For me the trick is 1) avoid sugar, 2) eating regularly on a predictable schedule and 3) making sure I have a little protein, a little insoluble fiber or a little fat with each soluble fiber serving. That way the blood sugar stays more stable. If I do those three things, white flour is totally fine.

Good luck and let me know how it goes.
