I eat these all the time when I get sick of cutting up fresh mangoes every day. Are they still considered soluble? Are they just not as good for you?

My guess is they are perfectly fine as long as they're not dried with oil.

i wish i could help you more, but i will tell you what i know: i know that they, and all dried fruits, are very high in fiber and good for healthy, well-formed BM's, and especially aleviating contipation. i also love dried papaya, pineapple, and apricots. papaya and pineapple are also natural digestive aids.

Cara,
You should try to get the ones that are ONLY dried mangos. They sell them at Trader Joe's. The ones at the grocery store have sugar and preservatives and stuff that might aggravate your system.
The only other concern I can think of is to make sure you don't eat the whole bag, because that's probably a lot more fiber than a regular mango!

I could never eat the whole bag! LOL. I get sick of them after 5 or so....
We don't have a Trader Joes around here, but I'll look some other places.
I can't find dried papayas....I have to keep looking I guess!
Thanks everyone! ~Cara
