COD LIVER CAPSULES

Has anyone tried cod liver capsules or heard of it for helping with the big "D"? My aunt has IBS-D and says it is helping her a lot! But I am nervous about trying it.

I started fish oil capsules well before I started Heather's diet. While they make my skin smoother and keep my doctor happy, it didn't do a thing for either my C or D.
Getting a SFS going, however, helped a lot!

LauraSue, you crack me up! Although this was my initial respnse too, when my aunt told my about it. I was afraid I might burp and taste the fishiness or have bad breath from it. But she said she does not have those problems. She also said after taking them before each meal that her "D" has gotten much better and she rarely takes Immodium AD anymore. I am thinking it's worth a try at least.

Aunie, I'm not sure I know of any scientific reason why it would have an effect on IBS, but if your aunt thinks it helps, it certainly can't hurt to try.
As long as you wont make me take em!!
