Gas after Applesauce and Zelnorm

I have the worst gas after applesauce and Zelnorm. Is this normal?

When ever I start the Zelnorm, I get gassey and usually have some serious D for the first day or so. That should go away, if it doesn't, call your doctor. I typically use Miralax but when I get a really bad attack with a lot of pain, I will switch to the Zelnorm for a week or so than switch back. Doing this keeps my system from building up a tolerance to the Zelnorm. If I just stick with the Zelnorm, it stops working after 1.5 to 2 weeks. Hope you feel better soon.
