Hi everyone. i have another question Okay, my mom said that maybe we'd go to the big health food store today or maybe she'd go cause I haven't had much energy at all. Although i'd love to breathe some other-than-inside air for like a millisecond. But I was wondering if any of you know of any names of brands of frozen/prepared meals/snacks that are ibs safe. B/C it would be SO much easier just for now, especially to make sure I'm eating balanced meal/snacks because Iove cooking and don't have much energy and don't care to make my mother cook for me too. She already has to work! Thanks everyone!!!!!!!!!!!

A lot of people have mentioned Amy's. It's a line of organic possibly vegan frozen dinners. If you did a search on Amy's here you might get more info.

Sorry, I can't help you in that respect, my health food store is too far until I get to feeling well enough to drive very far. But I'm sure there must be something at the health food store, good luck in looking.

But I have kind of a related question - would anyone be interested in purchasing online ibs-safe prepared mixes for things like quick breads, snacks, desserts? I've had this idea running around in my head for a few months but didn't know if there would be a market for it. What do ya'll think?

Some of the SmartOnes/Weight Watchers frozen meals are safe, BUT YOU HAVE TO BE CAREFUL. Lots of sneaky things like butter or cheese way down on the list. I can never remember which ones are ok, so I end up looking every time. You could also get vegan veggie burgers and some safe buns (that takes about 3mins in microwave). What about my favorite Tofutti Cuties? They're addictive, I warn ya! That's all I usually buy in the freezer section, but it's a start for you at least.

Shari,

I think that may be a good idea. As a single guy living on his own, I would be interested. I think you should act on it. The stats don't lie, 20% of Americans have IBS and I am sure its the same in other countries. Thats a lot of people.

Its all about marketing and getting eople to know you're product...

I actually had a similar idea, but I think there should be a delivery service to bring the food to your house, hey they do it for weight watchers right!!?
