Good Day, Going on holidays -- would it be a good idea to start regime of taking Metamucil before evening meal to aclimatize the tummy. What do you think. Thanks folks.

Hmm well not sure if you have heard this before but Metamucil is pretty hard to digest. It contains ingredients that causes gas and bloating in most people. Others have had better luck with Benefiber or Acacia (sold on this website at a great price). If I were you, I would start a fiber plan when you are at home living normally. I hate to make big changes when I'm on vacation. And whatever you do, start at a small dosage and work your way up over several days or weeks. Drinking lots of water has made a huge different in how fiber works for me. I have been taking the Acacia for a long time and am very happy with it. Good luck to you...

Thank you Debbie, will try the Metamucil at low dosage and see, and then in a couple of weeks if I do not show improve-
ment, will try the acacia. Take care.
