I do take fiber supplements (Acacia), but not right before bed. I take one tablespoon before breakfast and another one before dinner. I will try maybe taking it before going to bed... Would I stop taking it before breakfast or before dinner, then?

Well, it's supposed to be best to spread it out throughout the day, so maybe you could start taking 2 tsp in the morning, 2 before dinner, and 2 before bed? If my calculations are correct that would end up being the same amount. It couldn't hurt to see if that helps you in the mornings!

Kree, I know it must be scary to be looking for teaching jobs. I understand you!! In August, when I started going back to the school where I teach (special ed, like you, I think?)I went through the same thing. It's not actually that bad. Most days are okay... Even if I have pain, as long as I don't get D at school, it's fine. And if I do, I leave and that's it (they don't need anyone to substitute for me as my students go back to their regular groups when I'm not there).

Chantale, I'm so glad to hear that you're able to make due most days at school. I'm certified for special ed and elementary ed (and soon to be literacy!), so I have no clue what I'll end up doing! But I'm just trying to believe that it will all work out in the end, as it always does eventually.

Yeah, I know. I think they say that as a precaution, "just in case." While I do keep a sports bottle of water in my purse (I carry a BIG purse!), I've taken Equalactin many times without the water. I've never choked, and the stuff has worked every time.

It's a good idea to have the water, but if you don't it's no big deal. Last time I had my big D attack at the fabric store, I didn't have any water. I was on the pot at the store, and reached in my purse for some Lomotil or Immodium, but I was out of both. All I had was Equalactin, so I chewed one up -- right there on the pot! It didn't do much good, though, because the "damage" was done, and it just had to finish coming out of me! However, by the time I got home from the fabric store, I was fine.
