Is green tea supplements okay when you have IBS? I was taking centrum weight smart with green tea which lists the green tea ingredient and then has caffine in ().

I've heard a couple non-IBS'ers say it made them not feel well, so you might want to be careful with that. I've never had trouble drinking green tea, have you drinken it before?

Thanks! I had been taking those supplements but then I threw them away after I went back and read the back label. I am new to IBS and sometimes am not sure of what irritates me so I have cut it all out and now I am experimenting with different things. Thanks for your reply!

Generally, the caffeine is a no-no but the benefits to green tea shouldn't be ignored. The solution: decaf green tea. Drink lots of it. Take it to work in a thermos. Welcome to the boards!
