Do Honey Nut Cheerios bother anyone? I can't stand plain Cheerios.

They don't seem to bother me but I don't know if you're IBS-D, because I'm C.

No problem...though I must say I find it really difficult to figure out what foods are "safe" and don't bother my stomach seeing as I'm C...it's hard to tell if a specific food is making it worse or if its just food in general!

Oh my goodness, I know!! I get so annoyed with trying to eat and not feel super bloated. BM are cause for rejoicing.

Hey, they don't seem to bother me much either. I eat them all the time. Some days I mix rice chex and honey nut cheerios together, just to give me a little more stable base.
I like the mix, and it gives you variety!
I TOTALLY understand the trying not to eat things that cause bloating! I am soo prone to bloating, and I think most of the time it doesn't matter what I eat. But hung in there, we are all in this together!

I've always stayed away from Cheerios because they have whole grain oats, which I thought were a no-no. I am such a huge fan of HoneyComb cereal though. It is the best!

Hey, Amanda! Whole grain is only a no no when we're first getting stable or if we eat it without a soluble fiber cushion. That said, some people just can't seem to tolerate oats at all. Personally, oatmeal and Cheerios are two of my staples. I can't eat Honey Nut Cheerios because I'm allergic to the almonds in them. My hubby brought a box home for me once all proud, then ended up having to eat them all himself! And he knew I can't eat almonds, he just forgot (brain fart!).

Personally I have to be careful, I only eat cheerios once in awhile, and usually only half a bowl, with a cut up banana to fill the rest(and soy milk of course!). It's one of those foods where if I ate it for a few days in a row I'd be in awful pain, but small amounts are do-able.
