Are bagel chips safe? I was wondering bc I ate some yesterday and the day before and feel very crappy today. I know i have not been getting enough sleep, so I am hoping it is just that. But I was wondering if anyone else eats Bagel Chips and if they do ok with them. I ate the Sea Salt and the Garlic. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

It would depend on the fat content!! If its high in fat than yes, it would cause a problem. Check the label, whats the fat grams per serving? And did you eat only one serving??

I dont have them with me today, but I know it said 5 grams of fat, but I do not remember how much a serving was. I thought they would be safe bc they are baked right?

By the way Michele congrats on the pregnancy!

I think bagel chips are fried too. That would definitely cause an attack - just like eating regular potato chips would.

What is the brand name of the chips? I'll try looking them up online.

I search but couldn't find them on the internet. I know they're made by B&G Group, but they're not listed on their webpage. Maybe someone else knows more about them?

Oooh great, thanks Shell!

Looking at the ingredients, I don't see anything wrong with them? Maybe the portion size that you ate had too much fat?

Sorry I couldn't help you more!

you know, i don't know if this is a common problem, but neither my mom or i can eat anything containing garlic powder or we'll get really sick; upset tummy, my IBS flairs up, and we may get headaches if we eat enough of it. i wouldn't be surprized if it was the Garlic Powder that upset you. The thing is, we can both eat FRESH garlic with NO problems at all. it's weird.

even going to restaurants can be hard because they use that canned garlic stuff which i can *sort of* handle. i think it just has to do with something that happens to garlic the older it is... and yet i have no idea what that could be. Fresh garlic actually seems to make my tummy feel BETTER... anyway. just a thought.

Thanks maybe I just was not used to it, or I ate too much. Thanks for the help though!
