I was wondering...in Heather's book it says Arrowroot cookies are okay and I never really looked at the ingredients on the box. Then I looked at the snacks link the other day and it said make sure they're dairy free I've before had the Nabisco kind and then this other kind that were gluten-free cause we were at the health food store. What brand do you use? I've never before seen a dairy free Arrowroot cookie...they all say they have egg or milk or butter in them. I checked the fat content, though

dunno. i bought some but didn't even check for dairy (i'm a space cadet sometimes). they didn't bother me, but i am not lactose intolorant and only nit-pick the dairy in things when i'm in an attack. (i don't go crazy and drink milk or anything, i just mean i don't look at each and every little label item when i'm feeling well) i was just so excited to see cookies that were gluten free i snatched 'em up.

PS: the dog liked 'em. he got into the bag the day after i bought them. had to throw the remainders out 'cause i wasn't sure what his nasty mouth had touched.

I found these online: web page.

But it does has whole eggs in there, so if you're very sensitive to egg products, then avoid these. Might be able to get away with one or two if you've had a soluble fiber base.

Those were the only ones I could find - hope someone else has a recipe or something.

Oh! Haha..I'm special/not so smart. Those were the kinds I got that kind. Why did my mind think that the label said they had dairy in them? Tara, Tara, Tara! I think I did cause they tasted really rich....but they were lower in fat than the Nabisco ones. Hmmmm. They kind of did hurt my stomach but I though that maybe it was because my stomach was empty before? Hmmmm. Maybe I'll try them again. Thanks so much!

Thank you so much!!!! Okay! I just wasn't looking hard enough (I guess I tend to do that at the grocery store because I don't want to seem picky take a long time...I"m a grab it and go type of shopper. That will change starting today! Or whenever I next go shopping...with my mom)

Same here. When I go to the grocery store I pick something up and toss it in the cart and my mom is like "check the label" and I'm like, "oh yeah, that would be important" and then, wouldn't ya know, the fat content or something is too high on it. I'm WAY a space cadet. THe thing is...I'm IBS-A and I get pain from time to time when I don't know what it's from and for a while I was inhaling those arrowroots so i think dairy is a biggie for me.

i buy social tea biscuits that have no dairy and no eggs at the local "bulk food" store. they have everything there in big bins and you just get as much as you need - that's also where i get my mint for my peppermint tea and my fennel seeds for my fennel tea.
