Okay, eventually I will post something that is more positive...
My average daily menu [past couple of months]:
Wake: Jarro-Dophilus 6:00am: Banana 6:30am: Protein Shake [banana, ½ Tbsp of Benefiber, 1 Tbsp of rice protein, 12 oz. of rice milk, and rice syrup]+Caltrate and Fennel 7:30am: Enteric-Coated Peppermint Oil 8:30am: ½ Plain Bagel 9:30am: Rice Cake 10:30am: 2 Homemade Apple Muffins [1g of fiber each] 12:00pm: Lunch [chicken / rice, chicken / pasta, chicken / potato, sushi, or a sandwich]+Fennel 1:30pm: Enteric-Coated Peppermint Oil 2:30pm: Rice Cake 3:30pm: 2 Homemade Apple Muffins 5:00pm: Jarro-Dophilus 5:30pm: Dinner [chicken/rice, chicken/pasta, chicken/potato, or rice cereal w/ ½ Tbsp of Benefiber]+Caltrate and Fennel 7:00pm: Banana
I drink at least six to eight glasses of water a day; and I have resistance training four times a week. I really have been doing much better. I have even gained weight [twelve pounds in three months... ].
Here is my latest concern / problem: I was having two BMs a day [one when I woke up and one approximately twelve hours later]. Since I started taking the peppermint oil on a regular basis, I only have one BM in the morning. This BM can range from formed to loose stool, never really becoming "D". Recently [i.e. twice in the past week], I have had really bad gas accompanied by an explosive release of yellow goop [best way I can describe it...]. This has occurred at 11:30am each time. Was this an attack? If so, what could have caused it? I have not changed what I have been eating; so could it be related to not eating enough? In order to build muscle, I have to eat more and more protein. Could an increase in protein cause a reaction? I seem to always have a pain in my left side that is only relived by eating or when the peppermint oil reaches my intestines [coincidentally, should be right around 11:00am]...

... it may be time to raise the soluble fiber supplement. you're only at 1 Tbsp a day. can you add some at lunchtime? (i put mine in an unlabeled jar @ my desk)
i used to have those little "episodes" like you've described, but i haven't had them since i upped my acacia the last time...
hope that helps!
congrats on gaining weight! that's wonderful news. keep up the good work!

Thanks, Jen!
I will give that a try. I thought I was doing everything else right; so it makes sense that my soluble fiber intake may still not be enough.
I had cut my intake way back after I discovered that I was overdosing myself. I actually feel much better on the lower dosage.
It just seems odd that this "episode" would occur at the same time I am supposedly getting relief from the peppermint oil capsule...
