Hi there everyone. I just thought I'd come in to tell my good news. I've been IBS Free for probably almost two weeks now! It's wonderful. I've been taking Equalactin, one in the morning before or after breakfast, one before lunch, and finally a Fibercon before bed. It's been workng and I haven't had D once or C. Everyday, I've been going to the bathroom at normal amounts I think. Whoo hoo!!! Hope all my joy doesn't turn on me (reason I say that is b/c sometimes when I say I haven't had IBS it returns), but I had to share. Also, I have Prelief to use with foods, so that helps. Next, I've got to work on keeping a Food Diary. If you'd like a food diary, I know a great site:

spicey8138,

Ah, don't be jealous. Yes, fiber an hour before or even with meals really helps. Try it for a week and improvement really does start to show. Since mine went away, I have no problem keeping up the routine to prevent that nasty IBS from showing.

Was your main symptom the D? Or did you have the bloating and gas that go along with it?

That is awesome that you are doing so well!!!

Wow that's awesome! Can I just ask, is there a reason behind using both fibers? What happens if you just use one kind? I think I'm going to have to go out and get some Equalactin, you guys all have such good things to say about it. Also, what is Prelief? I'm so happy for you that your symptoms are gone
