Has anyone with C ever experienced bleeding in your stool and rectum? bright red blood on the toilet paper and stool? I just called my doc and have an apt tomorrow. i have never had hemmeroids before so that might be it, but blood freaked me out so i called. Has anyone ever had this? Please ease my mind.

Yes I have...only when I was C though!!
I asked my doctor about it and she said it's probably bleeding because I was straining so much to try and poop!! This caused tiny tears that started to bleed.
Let us know how your doc's appointment goes!!

Yes I had this also. It turned out to be internal hemmoroids.
I hope everything turns out ok.

I too suffer from C and often will have bleeding that goes along with it. Last time it was due to a hemmoroid that split while I was trying to go to the bathroom. It does go away though...thank god for that!! Hope ur appointment goes well, I am curious as to what ur doc says. Let us know how it goes! christine

I had very little bleeding that turned out to be internal hemmoroids. I was very scared also. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Please keep us posted. Daisy

I have had bleeding before...at the risk of being gross I totally changed the color of the water in the bowl. I was tearing in the "canal" just before the "exit". I was told to use Millers Bran (which gives me no trouble) to soften things up a bit and give the lesion time to heal. I haven't had that porblem in years. Best of luck.

Well you girls were all right, internal hemmoroids. He gave me some sort of suppository and said I would be "A ok" in a few days. But he suggested I get a colonoscopy done on May 13th just to rule out every other problem out there. But at least I know its not something that is terrible. Thanks for all of your support

hey, i didn't mean to offend. seriously, i've had that before and it lasted on and off for like, 3 months. i was so scared because i didn't know what it was, but i went to the doc and they said internal hem's. anyway, since everyone else said what it was i didn't think there'd be any harm in a little (bad) joke. because honestly, that WAS the worst, you go through all this effort until you're bleeding and you STILL can't go. it's awful. i hope you feel better soon.
oh, little tip: witch hazel helps A LOT. if you put it on a cotton and have it on your... bum..... it really helps.

I took it as a joke its ok I have no pain at all, thats what scared me. It was like I was bleeding for no reason. I am going to try the suppositories and he did mention to try Tucks medicated pads (which i think are medicated with witch hazel!)
Thanks again

yeah, i think Tuck's is nothing but witch hazel! so if you buy a bag of cotton balls and a bottle of witch hazel it's a lot cheaper and same effect.
by the way, i don't know if you get this, but i got REALLY bad itches.... not constant, but just when trying to go... if you get that, that's especially where the WH comes in really handy.

I have a little bit, now more than I know I am bleeding (if that makes any sense).. Its kind of like finding a bug on you, it makes you itch all day long.. Thats what I feel like

totally! oh god, just be glad you didn't make THIS mistake:
when i first noticed the aforementioned problem, i went on the internet to try to find out what it might be... and by the end of my search i was convinced i had pinworms! i was sooooo freaked out. needless to say i was thrilled to discover it was only hem.s!
