When cooking for IBS, what kind of cooking oil should be used? I see all these recipes that require oil but am not sure what kind is best for IBS. Thanks!

I use as little oil as possible...but when I do use it I use olive oil. It seems to be the best one and its part of that healthy mediterranean diet that is supposed to be sooo healthy! Hope this helps!

I use canola oil or olive oil.

Just remember, olive oil burns easily, so don't heat it up too hot. Olive oil is better eating raw (like in salad dressings).

Canola oil has healthy omega oils, so I use that as my 'everyday' oil.
