HI, I'm new to the boards and can't seem to find an answer to this...I'm IBS-C and wondering if bagels are ok or not? Sorry if this has already been answered somewhere else! Thanks!

Although I am IBS-D I can eat bagels just fine. In fact I know a lot of people have them listed for what they eat for breakfast every morning. Just look at the ingredients...a lot of them have dairy in them. I can eat the plain and the blueberry lenders, but again I am not sure about the IBS-C. Hope that helps some. (I am still new to this too!) Welcome to the boards!

Plain bagels are just fine - just make sure there are no milk proteins or whey on the ingredients list.
