H ieveryone- in an attempt to ward off some perimenopause symptoms my doc put me on Alesse,
a low dose BC pill. I've only been on it 2 days and have had stomach upset and headache all day.
Has anyone experienced this? I called the doc back and he said it's common and goes away
after TWO MONTHS or so!! I have no intention of feeling like this for 2 months-I'd rather be a
bitch with mood swings. Any feedback from those who've taken it would be great. Thanks! Linda

Ths pill is a pain. It has lactose in it and can be a problem. I found that they caused headaches for me.

Thanks for responding. Did you find the headaches went away after a time? One suggestion the
doc made was to switch from taking it in the morning to taking it right before I go to bed,so I'd
sleep through any side effects. I must admit being discouraged by this so any advice is welcome
