O.K. I am new to this and need some advice. I have just started this regime and today at lunchtime I had two thin slices of homemade white bread with 1/2 can of tuna and a spoonful of low fat mayo and my tummy feels large. I am not bloated like usual, just a very full uncomfortable feeling in the stomach. So what did I do wrong this time, does anyone know? Frustrated Neeta

Hey there
sorry you feel yucky
I've never seen anyone else write this, but I don't eat carbs and meaty proteins, or tofu, together, as it makes me so much more bloated then eating either proteins or carbs with vegies! Maybe that could help you?
Good luck...remember...peppermint tea!!

Neeta, you may not have done ANYTHING wrong! Sometimes when we're first starting out, our tummies are so stressed that ANYTHING upsets them. Give it time, and don't worry.

Just keep trying to soothe that tummy and before you know it, you'll have a smiley tummy!!

Thanks guys for answering. Dalia you mention not eating proteins with carbs. This is what I have learned before but with this diet of Heather's she says (as I understand it) don't eat anything without solible fibre first or in it. So I thought a sandwich would work. How if you don't eat the proteins with carbs do you get the solible fibre. Confused Neeta, but happy for the conversations.
