My doctors visit today went well but I had elevated blood pressure from stress, I am sure.

I had it on the last visit to my family doctor also because the blood had freaked me out and I guess I am still freaked. He was very nice though and I am scheduled for the colonoscopy in late April and for the upper probe (whatever it is called) where he checks the esophagus in early May.
I hate waiting. I wish everything could be done and over with but I am sure everyone else feels the same way too. I also have to do bowel samples for the next 24 hours. I really could have done without that but I guess it needs to be done so I will do it. Anything to not feel that horrible cramping pain again.
Hope everyone has a wonderful evening.

Yep. It's called "White Coat Syndrome." You're sitting in the reception room forever, waiting, waiting, waiting, then they call you in, and you think, "Finally!" -- but then you're shown into the examining room, where, once again, you wait, wait, WAIT! Your blood pressure begins to rise... and then in walks Dr. JellyFinger.
And guess what? He has the audacity to check your friggin' blood pressure! And of course it's off the charts. Gees, doc, whaddya expect?!
Oh yeah, the bowel samples. Fun stuff. I wracked my brain trying to think of a nice, neat way to do that. Trust me, there ISN'T ONE! I used a chamber pot, which I lined with an elephant-size Zip-Loc bag. While it worked fairly well, the memory of playing with the resulting contents still lingers .......
