I was reading the board yesterday and noticed that "peeps" were a safe food/snack to eat for IBS'ers. Well, not for me I ate 2 of them and had the worst attack ever!!! Could it be the sugar?

No, it's not the sugar. I have to wonder what else you had to eat yesterday that could possibly have done it. Are you keeping a food diary? That always helps me pinpoint the culprit.
I'm not a fan of peeps -- lately, I'm not a fan of sugar either, but no, it's not the sugar. And peeps are pretty small, as I recall, two of them certainly couldn't have done it. The whole box, well that's another story....

I ate dinner, which was 2 turkey burgers with worshire sauce (sp), rice and pasta with Fat Free Italian dressing, just a little to give it some taste and 2 french bread rolls and graham crackers for a snack along with the 2 peeps and drank water.

Don't blame those helpless little pastel chickies!
How was your stress? Hormones? Eating the day before? Were you tired?
Lemme tell ya, it's not always what you eat that day.... what I ate this weekend still haunts me today. And to think, I believed I was getting off scott-free this weekend after my outrageous slip-ups! IBS always wins, dagnabbit.

Well, turkey burgers are most likely full of dark poultry meat, which is a trigger. My frozen burgers just list "turkey, flavoring" as ingredients, but they don't say whether the turkey is dark or light meat. (I'm sure it's dark, though!) It couldn't have been the Worchestershire sauce, because the ingredients are all safe (unless somehow they snuck in some MSG without listing it). Italian salad dressing shouldn't have any dairy in it, but could it have MSG in it?
Bj, what did you have earlier in the day? Believe it or not, you could get an attack from something you had HOURS before, even the day before. Try to sit down and list everything you had within at least a 24-hour period. See, that's where a food diary comes in handy. Everything you had for dinner should have been safe.

Thanks Bevrs and JenX, I will start a food diary and go from there to see what the trigger was. I thought I was doing so well and then this happened. SO today is a different day and new start with my food journal. Thanks yall.
