I recenlty discovered the organic section of a local grocery store and I don't know if going hog wild on some of the, what I would consider "safe" foods for me is okay. I've discovered this delicious organic breakfast bars, Paul Newman's alphabet cookies, Barbarba's Bakery Puffins, and I did attempt a new milk, Almond, has anyone tried this?? And I bought some organic fat free milk, haven't tried it yet, wonder what you all thought? I have always believed I was/am lactose intolerant, but now I'm wondering if it was all the fat from the dairy products, instead of the lactose? I did post this before, how do you really know???

I've seen the almond milk, but haven't tried it yet. Let me know what you think. I bought some oat milk a while ago, but have yet to try it.

You can take a test to be diagnosed as lactose intolerant. But, in milk you still have whey & casein, as well as the lactose. I won't go near milk - it's a big time trigger for me. I never understood why Lactaid didn't work for me until I read Heather's books and learned why.

Did you have a question on flours too? It was in your subject, but not in the message.

I have tried the almond milk, and prefer it to rice milk. I can't have soy, so I can't compare it to that.

There is a chocolate flavor almond milk, I noticed. The vanilla's good in cereal or smoothies. I'm working up to drinking it straight though.

I was a BIG milk drinker 'til this diet, so it's hard to adjust.

Try the almond milk!
