Good Morning,
My question is, when you know that you are going to be in a very stressful situation how do you prepare for it? Satuday was a really "bad" day, attacks, stress, the whole nine yards. I tried to drink peppermint tea to calm by stomach down along with my RX of Buspar and nothing seemed to help me calm down. After I got to the "stress" place and I was there, everything was fine, its just getting there and the attacks before hand. Any suggestions how to calm down before hand?

I'm sorry you had a stressful day.

This type of thing (stress and in particular, stressing about possibly having an IBS attack -thereby bringing on an IBS attack!) is addressed through the IBS Self-Hypnosis Audio Program by Michael Mahoney. Check out what Heather has to say about hypnosis: Hypnosis for Irritable Bowel Syndrome.

Good luck!

Yep. That's what I take. Equalactin. Love the stuff. Whenever I feel the "rumblings down there" -- and you know what I mean -- I pop an Equalactin. Works every time. I don't know why -- Fibercon and Citrucel didn't work for me -- but Equalactin does.

I should sell this stuff.
