gassy feeling and pain and pressure in upper abdomen

Ive been so good at eating only what I should past few days. BUT I still have that (not severe)feeling(kinda pressure) in upper abdomen and gas feeling. I am not doing anything wrong that I know and now back to the good ol gp on Monday.

I get that too. Visit the folk on the yoga board. They have a great pose for releasing that trapped gas. Are you drinking peppermint tea? Fennel tea? They help as well.

I had similar symptoms. I thought it was my IBS and turns out that I have gastritis (inflamation of the stomach lining).
I'm glad you are seeing the doc so he/she can check you out and hopefully, you can get some relief.

pescado, The more I think of it the more I realize it may be something other than IBS cause I can eat things many can't and it don't affect me. I've stopped drinking coffee the past 5 days but I could drink coffee too. With my doctor it is hard to get an answer. Does this make sense? And it has only gotten more bothersome the past month.

Hansolo, Yes iv'e been to the board. But if I understand correctly yoga has siginificant breathing techniques and I do not know what they are. I've tried a few moves, I am willing to try something anything that helps with this feeling in my upper abdomen.
