ROTFL (or I would be if I wasn't at work!). You guys crack me up!

Let's all go work somewhere beautiful and sunny. We'll drag Kree along to cook us fabulous IBS-safe food and Jen can make us VERY bad chocolates to have after our IBS-safe dinner. What heaven!

Heather -you HAVE to do an IBS summer camp. That would be SOOOOOO cool! I'd definitely save up for that!

Yes, if I can't get Kree to adopt me, then kidnapping sounds like the next logical step. Count me in.

I'm knitting us some ski caps to pull down around our faces during "the deed." Let me know your color preferences, ASAP! Also vote: puff ball pom pom on top- yes or no.

I can teach American Sign Language if anyone is interested. I'm fluent.

I can also, obviously, teach chocolate-making!

I'd like some free-time to knit, though, please... or maybe a knitting group?

YAY for ASL! I took a year of it in high school and I've been hooked ever since, though I'm far from fluent.

We should get Kree to teach a cooking class

Umm, I'll help with drama! All my other knowledge is all science and engineering and computers...all not fun stuff for summer camp.

Las Vegas, Nevada???????!!!!!!!!!!!

Actually some of us are thinking about a casual meet in Las Vegas in the fall. Think about it----good weather , cheap flights in , the town is humming all day all night , buffets we can all find something to eat from , SO's can find something else fun to do when we get together ........lots of shows to see , often specials on nice hotels ...............and maybe a separate meeting room thrown in if enough of us stay at one hotel ...........and HOPEFULLY Heather and Will can come.

Anyone interested say the word and leave your email address. Or if you'd rather keep your email address private you can email me, Kandee at pleioneofthestars@yahoo.com or Jennifer (angylroses) at
sweetpea982@sbcglobal.net

This could be really FUN!!!!

Thanks for the concern, but you know the expression, "no news is good news". I just got busy with home and community projects besides travel…………….and still have more on the horizon………….I can't keep up with all the posts and new folks (welcome to you all, BTW). Have about a gazillion posts to catch up with when time permits.

Besides, I'm feeling so good it ought to be illegal. Oh, I still have to watch what I eat or I get attacks but over all not many complaints, except for weight gain. Had to STOP baking all those "safe" goodies………OMG, if I kept going I'd weigh 300 lbs! See Kree, it's all your fault!!! LOL No Britney pants for this chick for a while…….Baking and sitting to much on your derriere at a computer does not make one bootylicious!

I'll be weaving in an out of the boards, time permitting…………Nice to know all are still so helpful and kind........what a group!!!

Think I'll move the "Fall Sprawl" post to the Living Room. If anyone is interested keep us posted. It would be fun to finally put real people together with names/pics!!!

Hi "Nut",

You gonna change your pic like everyone else? Do you a spring hat with lots of flowers on it? (How cute would that be?)

Kandee - I think Vegas sounds like a blast!! Jen told me about it, and I told her I'd be interested. It just depends on when in the fall - our wedding is 10/8. I already told Chris I wanted to save a couple of days to go, and he wants to go too. We've been wanting to go to Vegas anyway.

So, keep me posted on the details! mags2003m@hotmail.com

Do you have a lot of people interested yet? I'm sure Gerry could meet us there, since she's already in Vegas.

Hi Mags and ALL,

Yes, I can't think of a more fun place to be!

I thought of your wedding in Oct. and made note that this "CANNOT" interfere by being the same date.

I've heard from a few people but not near enough. Maybe that will increase as time goes on if we keep bumping this up. What I need to do now is to look at what is going on in Vegas next fall. I learned from past experience (a few weeks ago) you better pick you dates wisely. Nascar was there at the time (I didn't know) and brought in 250,000 extra folks staying at hotels with elevated rates!!! Since my trip was last minute, I was one……….and boy did they sock it to me. But, you're ok as long as you have your hotel room reservation in advance.

What I need from all of you who are interested, is to give me dates that would be good for you...........in Sept. or Oct. or early Nov. Also, any ideas would be appreciated........Like what you want to do when there as a group? We could make it over a weekend since some can't take more than a weekend off...then stretch it to include a Mon. and Fri. Since Jen and I have agreed to organize it, you can contact either of us.

We're still brainstorming ourselves so all suggestions are welcome. For example: -Do you want an organized 2 day agenda, or keep it loose with just times to socialize? -Recommendations to all stay in one centralized hotel or each pick their own?

I can't begin to tell you how much fun this could be. For those of you who have never been in Vegas you're in for a treat. And for those of you who haven't been in a while, you will be amazed at all the new and wonderful things to do and see. There is something for everyone!

Ooh this goes back to the old fundraising ideas posts that we used to have. I believe some of the suggestions were selling candy shaped like colons and wrapping paper. Would finally be able to get revenge on all the moms and dads that bring their kids' fundraisers to work! [insert evil laugh here]
