Hi, how's everyone today?? Whose tummies are happy and whose are not ?

I'm feeling good tummy-wise, plus I've been walking for exercise every day this week! If it hadn't been for two migraines, I would have been great! Oh, well, can't have everything!!

I have a happy tummy today!

I love my new fennel tea and my acacia, and I got some great sleep after listening to my hypnotherapy last night. (Ok... DURING the hypnotherapy program!)

Sorry about your migraines!

That's great, Jen! And sleeping during hypno tapes is part of a long time-honored tradition! My personal trainer at the gym frequently falls asleep during her meditation class!

Well, you know it's Michael's fault! He kept saying "it's ok if you fall asleep... the subconscious will hear my voice... it's ok to fall asleep."

He was persuasive!

Migraines are no fun; I get them too.

My tummy doesn't like me today. I really hope it wasn't the yummy Harvest Spice Pumpkin Apple Bread I made from the recipe exchange last night and ate for breakfast this morning. Tonight is movie night with my best friend though, so yay for relaxing!

Oh, don't blame the bread. It could be a million other things too you know. My personal theory as I've shared on this board before is sometimes when you can't figure out WHAT triggered an attack, it was just...sunspots!!

Yay for sunspots! I had a horrible attack last night out of the blue (maybe too many veggies at dinner?) I don't know. But it kept me awake half the night...argh. So my tummy was not happy this morning, but it's ok now after rice and a yam for lunch (my new favorite after an attack, sooo soothing!)
Sorry about your migraine LauraSue, but how great that you've been getting exercise and feelin' good overall!

Hey, LauraSue!

I wake up with a migraine every morning. I can't figure out why -- maybe it's just part of the syndrome, eh? It goes away after my morning acacia tea, so I can't complain.

Besides, I have a happy tummy too!

Bev - I LOVE your happy tummy birdie icon!

Sorry to hear you get migraines too. I definitely think it's part of the syndrome -- all that autonomous nervous system dysfunction. Mine usually come on later in the day and NOTHING helped but icepacks until my doc gave me one of the new triptan pills (Relpax). They're magic!!

Every morning!? Now you've got me worried about you.....

Is that just recently or has that been going on for a long time? Could it be allergies?? I know I get more migraines in the Spring and the Fall... not sure what I'm allergic to, but that's got to be the connection. I also get them when there's changes in the barometric pressure. I can predict the rain uncannily. It's kinda funny, 'cept for the blinding pain and desire to puke!

Wish I could make you feel better....

Hey Pretty Lady!

It's not every morning -- sorry -- but pretty close to it. Since so many others complain of the same problem, I'm thinking it's just "part and parcel" of IBS. It goes away after my morning tea; I just have to be patient.

I didn't have it this morning, thankfully, so it's not every morning. Sorry about that. It's just that it seems that way sometimes because it's so intense that it makes me nauseated, and I hate that. You know, it could be allergies, although mine usually don't take that form; I'm usually itchy eyes and runny nose, and always later in the season.

Tomorrow is my appointment with the fat doc. Do you know how much I'm looking forward to this? I'd rather have my a-- rubbed with a brick!

Worms.

Haven't tried the mocha fudge yet . One thing at a time. I am so improved just trying these new soluables and enjoying myself right now, not ready to upset the wagon yet. Want to enjoy the high for a while. My next step is to try adding more insoluables with blending, chopping, cooking to death next week probably with some of Heather's recipies. Then after I accomplish that I'll work on the decaf tea vs the caffeine tea. Thanks for caring!

Good for you, crampgirl! Way to go! Wow, I would kill for a piece of angel food cake right now. I guess I'll have to settle for the Nilla Wafers in the cabinet.
