Did your mom's use antacids when she was pregnant....

My mom was really sick when she was pregnant with me and had to take antacids and other stuff to try to help her. Mind you she eat a lot of Viva Puffs too. She wasn't sick with my sister as she was with me.
Then I was sick right from the begining with colds, colic and other stuff. Even when my mom breast fed me I would react with IBS from what she had eaten.
Is this true too for anyone else?

Not sure. I know I was a colicky baby because my mom hasn't let me forget for 50 years! IBS does tend to run in families (my mom has it, my sister has it, my first cousin has it). So it may not have anything to do with antacids or anything else our mom's took when pregnant.

Just a thought.

Yeah

My aunt has IBS too but I was wondering if something else was also involved as a trigger.
