I love my new GI doctor!

I'm really happy to say I went to my appointment and found that this doctor was an hour behind his schedule. Why? My theory is that he takes his time! I don't mind waiting if I get all the attention I need, and I did! (I ended up not having to wait a whole hour, by the way.) He explained the colonoscopy results which my other doctor had not, and put my mind at ease. I don't have inflammatory disease, and new blood work will test for thyroid and sugar-level problems. I feel like I'm in good hands for once! He answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns. We're gonna give zelnorm a try, too. Wish me luck! He did only suggest I eat a high fiber diet and not much else where diet is concerened, but hey, since when have doctors known what to tell us about diet? I've figured out most of what I should and shouldn't eat from trial and error and of course, from you guys! Thanks a lot!

Congrats, Girlfriend! If the only thing your doc is guilty of is not helping you with your diet, you're a lucky gal! It sounds like he IS helping you with everything else, which is unheard of for a GI.
You go, Girl!  And you're right -- come on back here and we'll help you with the diet part!
