OOOH.. I can't do the soy drinks at all. I kept having gas and well frequent b/m's. I switch to rice milk and I feel much better. I use Rice Dream it's the safest I found in ingredients and you can buy it in chocolate and carob, original and vanilla. Now I can do the soy yogurt pretty good and tofu products to. I can't do the ice cream products either. If you want to try rice milk and like strawberry flavor add a little fat free strawberry syrup for taste. Just more areas to explore

Your regular grocer in London should have it. The Loblaws on Fanshawe Park Road should, and many other large chans like Zehrs, Sobeys, A and P. My Zehrs doesn't carry Silk brand, though. Check right beside the bagged milk, or in the organic/health food section. BTW- LOVE LOndon. Hubby used to work there and I love White Oaks Mall.

Noticed you had to throw that "eh" in at the end. Is that your attempt at a Canadianism??????????

I am really beginning to think that it is the soy milk bringing on the D. Still experimental but other than adding a digestive enzyme (taken only once in a while) and a multi vitamin to my diet, I can only think the soy is what has changed me from IBS C to D so suddenly. Any other thoughts? Thanks

Oh boy!, not to make fun it's just a reply " where are you canadians when you need them?" Ha! Just kidding!! We have the same problems here it's just hard to find a good Doc that will listen, try searching local support group for digestive disorders and maybe you can get some great references. Meanwhile keep a food diary and see what is bothering eliminate and add as the days go. Try Probiotic or acidophilus supplement, it could help the D. Feel better soon. I love this board!!!

I have a real hard time sallowing the acidophilus tabs since I had my acid reflux surgery (nicknamed the "wrap"). Or any large meds in tab form. Any suggestions on another way to be able to use up these capsules? I am going to ask my health food store tomorrow but in case I forget , thought I'd flip here too
