I just bought a pack of fat free fig newtons and I have noticed that my stomach has been much better with adding them to my diet. I can only have 2 at a time, otherwise my stomach gets upset, but one or two a day def helps me. Another thing is the other day I had off for track practice and I noticed such a difference- my stomach acted up so bad(and i ate the way I usually do) I dont think most of us think of exercise as a help, but its a stress reducer and is very important for us with IBS. As soon as i went running the next day, my stomach calmed down.

I haven't eaten them in a long time, but during the summer months in Southern Illinois (temp and humidity 95 degrees!) they were a big help for me as well. I may have to put them back on the grocery list!
