I thought about you when I got online today and said a prayer for you. I've been wondering how you are this morning! Just remember that God is with you, and you're not alone! I'll be anxious to see how you are when you get back home! Terri

Hi everyone! I did good! It was so easy. I didn't feel a thing. The worst part was that nasty numbing spray! But a minute after that I was out! It only took a few minutes. No big deal at all. The Dr kinda was driving me nuts a little...saying all your symptoms are classic IBS symptoms. I hade to tell him to take a biopsy. He was refered by my GP whom I love! Anyways he was saying that he highly doubts I have celiac, Dr's just love to say IBS!!! WHY is that? Anyways I should know by next week about the biopsy that was taken. He even told me I don't think you need a colonoscopy. Said I don't have any of the classic symptoms for colitis etc...I told him I haven't been tested for anything other than gallbladder and blood work. How does he know that there's no other reason to do a colonoscopy??? I will be going back to my GP. The GI specialist said that I just need more fiber oh and how about you try milk of magnesium. I said NOPE I want all the tests!!! Not everyone has the same symptoms for celiac and other things like colitis or chrons. He was nice but, to much on the IBS side of things. I guess he forgot that IBS is a non diagnosis...meaning theres nothing found after tons of tests!!!
NO worries I'm going to do every test before I listen to his take zelnorm and milk of magnesium!!!
Anyhow it was easy!! NO biggie at all!
Thanks againg everyone!

Steph, I'm so glad it went well! That's good to hear. I'm actually looking into going to another GI, because mine only did a sigmoidoscopy b/c he also said he was sure I didn't have Crohns or Colitis. I've been talking to my mom lately, and we both agree that it's impossible to know for sure without some additional tests, and he doesn't seem to think they're necessary. I guess we just have to be our own advocates, right?? I'm so glad you were, and let us know how the results turn out!
