I like my white rice, but what can I put with it, or on it to give it some more flavor. Are some gravy's ok?

Like Heather had mentioned...i love soy sauce and furikaki...japanese seasoning..my mother is japanese so I grew up eating it and loving it.... it adds alot of flavor...and culture...tee-hee..lol

Please help. I don't know how to pronounce this "furikaki" and I'm LOMBO everytime I try to do so. I would hate to walk into an Asian store and ask for it pronouncing it the way I am now.

well ill try...to sound it out for you...or spell it as it sounds...fudiŽkokŽae.. but pronounced as one word. You can find it usually at asian markets...but i dont know what you have available where you are...surpisingly i have found it a large US chain grocery store here in mexico.. Hope that helps..
