I know I have read to munch on french and sourdough breads as staples and with meals, are there any other kind of breads that are "safe". Wheat does not agree with me, but today we had a carry in at church and there were 3 kinds to choose from, regular white, butter top, and Rye, I read the calories, fat and fiber and went with the Rye? I love bread, is there another good safe one to use?

I'm pretty sure Heather said before that rye was safe. How about pumpernickel? I've never thought of that - I wonder if pumpernickel is safe.

I also like to use kaiser or torpedo rolls, pita bread, or tortillas to mix it up.

Ha! Look at that. Either I missed this post the other day, or I read it without realizing it and it sunk in! LOL web page So, I guess pumpernickel is a possibility.

Hi!

Kamut bread is my safest kind. Spelt bread is supposed to be safe too. Plain bagels are usually safe too.
Many people also make their own bread. I've seen recipes on the recipe exchange bulletin board.

Take care!
