I think it's usually made with white flour and corn meal so I guess that would make it soluble. I can't handle the rosemary that they season it with, plus it usually is too oily also.

I ended up having a small amount last week and was fine but this week with a bit more and my pasta with salsa I didn't do to well.

I guess in my last posting I should have said that I was looking for an answer if anyone knew if it was safe not more questions about it.

I myself can handle rosemarmary, oragano, and other herbs. I especially use them on my french fries.

I use those same herbs on my homemade IBS-safe french fries too! I like throwing a little garlic on them too so it feels like I'm having the garlic fries at the baseball games!

You just reminded me, we have a recipe for oven "french fries" that are low fat and very good. I'll have to find it and post it.

Of course I eat french fries!
But don't forget they are made at home with all IBS safe ingredients. They are oven baked with a small amount of Pam olive oil sprayed on the baking pan so... Yes I eat them at least once a week.
I find that I can sill eat almost anything because I make them IBS friendly and don't miss out on to much except beef.

I have a confession to make. I can't give up french fries (or "chips" to us Brits!). I just love them too much. And they don't get me too bad, as long as they're chunky (fish'n'chip shop) chips and not from McDonalds. I make potato wedges sometimes, but I just can't give up my chips. I am sooooo addicted!
