Is it best to take Citrucel in the morning?

I have had a difficult time being consistent with my Citrucel routine. I usually try to drink my Citrucel in the evening only because I am very much not a morning person and never allow enough time to drink the dosage of Citrucel along with the additional glass of water before going to work. But when I take it at night I obviously end up having to get up to go to the bathroom because of all the liquid I've consumed. I realize this is not the smartest move ever, so I'm going to start trying to take it in the morning. Is that generally what everyone else does? Does your stomach feel all sloshy afterward from drinking so much liquid or is that just me? Thanks!!

I take acacia. One dose in the morning when I first get up and another dose in the evening -- and ALWAYS on an empty stomach. And I always feel better afterwards.

I take Citrucel first thing when I wake up, then again while I'm preparing dinner.

I usually take a whole scoop of citrucel right before lunch and I'm just starting to take a 1/2 scoop right before or after dinner. I used to take a whole scoop just in the evening but I would get real bad cramps before my morning bm. I thought it was because between dinner and the fiber, I wasn't getting enough water with the amount of food I was eating (and I would have to pee all night if I did). I would love to start taking some in the morning but, like you, I don't think I'd be very consistent since I'm late for work most of the time! BTW, I also have to pee ALOT about and hour after the fiber if I drink the recommended extra glass of water, so I've cut it down to an extra 1/2 glass and just drink more throughout the day.

I take my fiber supplement before each meal. That allows me enough time to pee before bed and not have to get up!

I do the same as Mags, my bowl process is a little slow. you have to remember if you are getting too much fluid, you will get diarrhea, same as not enough fluid with fiber, you will be constipated. Don't over do on the drinking fluid.
