I did a search on the message board about juices that are safe and am still not exactly clear on this subject. Ruchie, you mentioned that you drink these frequently, what types are safe for us? And everybody else, what type of juicer do you need to make juice and what types of juice do ok for you.
Thanks, Greg

Apparently, bottle juice is the problem most of the time. I do okay with unsweetened cranberry or a little OJ with/after a safe meal. I think with the juicer it is safer. I haven't tried using one yet, though I'm planning on adding a juicer to my registry.

Hey Greg,
Check out this conversation regarding Juicers: Juicers
Have you also tried smoothies? I love these, bannana, soy milk and a few berries... pop them in the blender and viola...mush!

The smoothies do sound like they would be delicious! I will have to try those soon. Thanks for the suggestion!

Thanks for the clarification. I wasn't sure if all bottled juices were bad. I've only been on the IBS diet for about a week and sometimes its really hard to know what to eat and drink and what NOT to eat and drink.

Sorry, should have clarified this first...make sure your smoothie has a good soluble fibre base (like bananna, or apple with no peel) for the blender. Some people cannot tolerate the seeds in berries, but I do fine with a small amount mixed with the bananna and soy milk. There are tons of recipies for these on the recipie board if you are interested!
