If it makes you feel better, you could take it with breakfast or lunch, or even one of your snacks. I just take it with dinner, because I take my multi-vitamin with my breakfast, and you can't take them at the same time.

Let me know if you find out anything on the kidney thing though.

is it possible that calcium caltrate could give me Diarrhoea?
i was going to try it as i have heard its good for people with D but i got really bad diarrhoea after eating half of the tablet (calcium Caltrate D+) and then i have a meal, then half an hour later i started with bad D. Is it possible it could be from calcium?thanks
