Just got back from the grocery store...they added Calcium (aka Dairy) to the intstant oatmeal! I am sooo upset! I just wrote an email to PepsiCo foods about it! Does this upset anyone else? Strike a fav, safe food off the list for me!

Definitely try finding McCann's Instant Irish Oatmeal. I have been eating the apple cinnamon version for months with no problem. It's at my local Stop & Shop or Shaw's. It tastes great too and done in 90 seconds. I have it every single morning for breakfast, so it's a great way to start the day off safe.

Yeah I was mad, I was eating oatmeal at my boyfriend's parents house, and randomly started reading the ingrediants...to see MILK! Why add milk to oatmeal?? Why can't they just leave it alone?

I agree with Louise, calcium doesn't necessarily mean dairy. There are lots of other sources of calcium, so it could still be safe.
I eat both Quaker instant and McCann's instant, as SkyeDawn mentions.

Thanks for the responses! I will try to find another brand (hadn't though of that!) I did check the ingredients and it is milk ingredients, and I can have no dairy at all!
