Hi- by the time I got your post advising me to avoid the halfbaked brownies, the vomiting and diarreach
had already begun. Can't tell if it's a stomach virus or related to my ill advised gluttony. Either way
this was NOT my plan for the weekend! Oh well... live and learn. Linda

Oh dear, I'm SOOOO sorry, Linda. Vomiting WITH the diarrhea? At the same time? Oh my. Well, at least you're getting rid of it, which is obviously what your body is trying to do. That's a good thing. You should start feeling better after it's all out of you.

This is probably not the time to discuss it, but don't blame the recipe. It really is a TERRIFIC recipe; you just need to bake them longer. I know how it is, though, when something you eat makes you violently ill, then that food causes a mental reaction and you're permanently turned off to it.

On the other hand, being turned off to brownies could be a good thing, eh?

Honey, I'm REALLY sorry for you. Get well soon, okay? Then I want to ask you another question. (Just not right now.)

Bev

Thanks- feeling better. And believe me, it would take a lot more illness than this (typhoid maybe)
to turn me off to ANY recipe that includes chocolate! The part that threw me was the part in the
recipe that stated cook for a certain length of time OR 'till just set in the middle." When I touched
it it felt 'set' and seemed cooked. It wasn't until later after they'd cooled and were cut into I realized
my mistake. My symptoms may or may not be related to salmonella-could just be a stomach
virus going around. My hubby calls where I work a 'germ factory', after all. Enjoy the rest of your
weekend and thanks for the sympathy! Linda

Yeah, I had a stomach bug a few weeks ago. My sympathies!
