Hello everyone, first post! I've been struggling with IBS issues on and off for years now. I'm a 27 year old male. Typical story of many doctors visits, with limited health and a seemingly lack of interest from the doctor in my complaints. Even mentioned "were simply not going to find anything wrong with you, there's not much we can do". Thinking about switching to a different one, but costs are a concern as well so I don't really go in much (especially since visits aren't helpful).
Anyways! I most of the time manage the symptoms pretty well. Sometimes I'll go a week or two with no symptoms at all, but then it resurfaces and flares up. My main complaint is "intestinal burning" which I've figured out on my own experience coincides with gas rumbling through, as well as possibly cramping. Sometimes acidic bowel movements as well when this is active, as well as heartburn. The heartubrn I have found to be under control as long as I don't get constipated. I don't often have many bouts of diarrea so to speak (but sometimes), but more often when I'm flaring up I have incomplete almost continuous (go several times a day) not well formed stools. Then again, it improves.
I have begun experimenting with adding in more fibers since it would seem that it should help, however I have found when I add in more fiber I then feel pretty "heavy" or bloated in general.
I have also just started taking the Heathers Tummy Tamers as of a couple days ago to see if it will help. Does anyone else get this intestinal "burning" as their main symptom? If so what helps? I have found such inconsitent results by just experimenting, it's frustrating. Thanks!
Randy

Sorry for no reply sooner from us...Mine has burned with flare ups too in the past due to too much irritation. Try increasing water intake a little or food fiber moves too slowly. The soluble acacia fiber should not add to a gas problem and regulates going whether diarriah or constipation; You have to start low as per the instructions. Take probiotics without any prebiotic added, that has at least acidophillus and bifidus starting with lower cfu count and build up, away from any herbs or antibiotics that kill down any bacteria, with non-chlorinated water (added a little trace minerals back in if purified or distilled). The combo Peppermint fennel ginger cap that is extra enteric coated should help with gas. Hoping that all makes sense to anyone having similar problem. See products and info available on this website.
