I have been dealing with IBS-D my whole life, but am currently having one of the worst flare-ups I can remember. It has been bad off and on for several months. While I am trying to implement Heather's diet and other changes, I started wondering about what has changed in the last 4 or 5 months.

I realized that I stopped taking my birth control pills back in January due to a missed period and cranky moods. No, not preggers. But I know that my IBS gets worse around my period, so I wondered if any of you noticed the pill improving (or worsening) your IBS symptoms?
