Combining Heather's Diet and Low FODMAP?

Hi, I am basically trying to start with food from scratch with really safe foods first (rice, potato, chicken, turkey, banana) and then each week I am adding in a new food. I was thinking of comparing the lists of safe and trigger foods between Heather's diet and the low FODMAP diet and first start adding in foods that are safe on both. After this, I would start adding in ones that are safe on only one list and see how it goes. Sort of a combination elimination diet to determine which foods cause me trouble. Before I spend all the time to try and compare all of the lists, has anyone already done this??? If not, I can't seem to find a comprehensive list of low/high FODMAP foods. I have found a few, but some seem to contradict each other... Any help would be greatly appreciated:).

Unfortunately, no one has compared the foods on the EFI diet to the restricted foods on the FODMAP diet. However, it is rather easy to do.
The third link in my signature will give you a reliable and fairly comprehensive list of safe and unsafe FODMAP foods. The only think you have to be careful to do is watch the amount of insoluble fiber content in some safe FODMAP foods if you are sensitive to insoluble fiber.

that chart is out of date, Syl. Many of the foods on the allowed list are now not allowed according to the University of Monash...leading research foundation for low fodmap eating.

Perhaps you are mistaken. Please direct me to what you believe is a reliable source as the chart was derived directly from the Monash group's (Gibson and Shepherd - see second link in my signature) information. The chart is in close agreement with Kate Scarlata's Check list. She is in regular communication with the Monash group.
Thanks
