No, I'm not talking about doing a low/no carb diet, but I do have to watch my carb intake. Carrots, sweet potatos and such are great and ok, but breads and lots of pastas and stuff can be too much. How much soluable fiber do you need to eat at each meal and such?

You need about 25-30 grams of fiber - soluble and/or insoluble fiber per day. So you need about 8-10 grams of fiber per meal. It doesn't matter if you get the fiber from food or from a soluble fiber supplement. So if you are worried about carbs then take a soluble fiber supplement to compensate for the soluble fiber in pasta, rice, etc.

Unfortunately it can be costly to get a lot of soluble fiber from a supplement unless you use a soluble fiber supplement like Heather's tummy fiber. It gives you a lot of soluble fiber in a small dose for a lower cost than most soluble fiber supplements.
