So, I apparently gave my books away to someone else as I can't find them. I am going to be buying them again but am wondering if there are other books that are recommended (like IBS for Dummies, ect)?

Two books that you may find particularly useful are Heather's Eating for IBS Diet & Cookbook and Patsy Catsos IBS-Free at Last! Second Edition.

The latter book talks about the new clinically tested dietary approach to managing IBS by eliminating particular carbohydrates called FODMAPs which are known to produce gas, bloating and trigger IBS symptoms. You can read a brief overview about the FODMAP approach in the first link in my signature. The second link is the original research paper that describes the medical details of the FODMAP approach.

Many of us on the board use both dietary approaches blended together.

Good luck
