Just found some new yogurt made by Almond Dream...it says it has tapioca fiber in. Any ideas if this is safe or could it be a problem?? Could not find it listed on their webpage but here is a link: Almond Dream Yogurt

I also couldn't find a link to that particular product on their web site. However, looking at some of the other products it seems a number of them contain "tapioca maltodextrin" which is a functional fiber or resistant starch that acts like a soluble fiber. It is sold as a natural soluble digestion resistant pre-biotic dextrin fiber - a long winded way of say soluble fiber supplement. It should be okay.

Thanks, Syl...am excited to give it a try. Since I don't do dairy or soy...the only other yogurt is the coconut milk and that contains inulin so that is out...hope this works:)

I found it in a local store in Milwaukee, WI ....hopefully it will come available at more locations. If the place you shop carries any of the other Almond Dream products I'm sure you could ask them to carry the yogurt.

I had wondered the same thing because I tried it and it gave me gas and bloating - not sure if it was the fiber or the probiotics. They updated the website, here is the link: http://www.tastethedream.com/products/category/809.php
