Fairly new to the forum and have done a search but am having a hard time finding out the answer if Lipton Ice Tea Mix is safe and what is the best Egg Whites product to purchase. Have not been diagnosed yet..but most likely be tested soon. Starting my first grocery list and am a little lost. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

hi!
i would skip the lipton tea, i think it is black tea based which has caffine and is a no no for ibs, what I do is brew some mint tea, or other herbal tea and then keep a pitcher of that iced, the mint is really yummy during the warmer months, as far as eggs i use either egg beaters, or just whites, both have been fine and should be ibs safe good luck with your shopping list!

I LOVE my ice tea. I buy the Shoprite (store) brand but DECAF only. I drink gingerroot or chamomile (caffeine free only) hot tea in the morning and whenever I have my "episodes" or feel like one may be starting up. I also drink the Goya fruit drinks. Not sure how "good" they are but I haven't had any issues. As far as egg beaters....I've noticed that it states, "made with real eggs" which tells me egg yolks might be in them so I make sure I buy "All Whites" and in the ingredient list, it states just that and I feel mentally better knowing that is exactly what I need and nothing else.
